Many people do not realize the importance the bitch plays in a breeding program. A puppy, or dog is composed of genes of which 50% are from the male and 50% from the female. Unfortunately, people interested in buying puppies usually choose a puppy primarily on the pedigree of the stud dog, not giving the quality of the bitch much thought.
This can be a terrible mistake because a stud dog regardless of the caliber, cannot compensate for a poorly bred bitch. Many people that buy a puppy based on the stud dog alone tend to be disappointed as the puppy matures.
This is why we place extreme importance on our quality females with-in our breeding program. Anyone can breed to an exceptional stud dog, but very few breeders have invested the time and effort it takes to have proven quality bitches. This is what sets us apart we breed exceptional stud dogs to exceptional bitches to produce outstanding puppies.
